Buru Energy (ASX: BRU) controls a significant (22,000km2) package of oil and gas exploration and production permits in the Canning Basin in the west Kimberley region of Western Australia. The Canning Basin is one of the least explored onshore basins in Australia with already producing conventional oil resources and large scale wet gas resources.
